Frequently Asked Questions
Why
should the outside of my home or business be treated for
pests rather than the inside?
By treating the exterior of your home or business, pests can
be stopped in their tracks before they ever get inside and
invade your living space where they can cause problems.
What should I do to prepare for a perimeter treatment?
One of the nicest things about our perimeter treatment is
that it is easy on you. Unlike an indoor treatment where you
may need to cover or move certain items, there is little to
do on your part prior to the technician performing the
treatment. Simply close any windows and pick up any toys,
tools or garden hoses lying next to your home or business.
One of the best pluses of this treatment is that you do not
have to be home for the technician to perform the treatment.
Where exactly does the perimeter treatment take place?
The pest control product we use for perimeter treatment is
applied directly on the exterior of the home, 2-3 feet up
from the foundation and from the foundation out up to 10
feet into the lawn. This is the area where pests are usually
found and gain entrance into your home.
Will the treatment harm the grass, shrubberies or
flowers around my home?
No. Even with direct contact, you never have to worry about
the products we use harming the soil or lawn.
Should children and pest be kept away from the treated
area?
Children and pets should be kept off the treated area until
the surfaces are dry.
